Meet Abibat Kareem. Abibat is our new project administrator @cccproject767

She has been working closely with each member of the international team and professional services at Goldsmiths to see the project to fruition – ensuring timely delivery of its key objectives.

With a background in Architecture Abibat has a keen interest in vernacular architecture and maps.

Cyril talked with Tahj Pollock and Jahres Peter, alongside Gabrielle Abraham, about Maria.

...He describes how the hurricane reshaped the landscape, questions to what extent one can prepare for such storms, says how Maria took his modest home and reflects on the power of Jah in determining one's survival.

Augustus ‘Oggy’ Remy of Loubiere spoke with Kaila-Ann Guiste (@shekorryn)and Rennick Stevens about Hurricane Maria (2017) and David (1979)

He speaks of all that Maria took from him, how the storm affected people materially and his hopes to reinforce his home.

Asked about healing he replied:

"It’s my age. To me I cannot heal because I lost everything I had. I wouldn’t heal, but I will live"
